Gambling City (1975)

$ 14.99

Luca is a smooth-talking card hustler with fast hands, a razor-sharp grin, and no respect for the rules. When he muscles his way into Milan’s criminal casino scene, he’s welcomed into the inner circle of a powerful underworld boss. But every move is a gamble, and when he falls for the boss’s woman, he ignites a war with the sadistic heir to the throne.

What follows is a slick, violent descent into high-stakes crime, where baccarat turns bloody and the house always shoots to kill. Double-crosses, cold-blooded beatdowns, and a suitcase full of cash carry this thing straight into the red zone. No cops, no heroes—just gangsters, gamblers, and the occasional sucker with a knife in his back.

Directed by Sergio Martino and penned by genre mastermind Ernesto Gastaldi, this gem is pure Eurocrime gold. Luc Merenda oozes charm and danger in one of his best anti-hero roles, while Enrico Maria Salerno keeps it classy and cruel. The score by Luciano Michelini is smooth as hell, and Giancarlo Ferrando’s lens catches every glare, glare, and gunshot with gritty precision.
