Billy Thomas took a bullet in Vietnam to save his commanding officer, and he paid the price with permanent brain damage. Now back in Los Angeles, the gentle giant lives under the watchful eye of his best friend Scott, the man he saved. Together they run a quiet bar and try to stay out of trouble—but trouble comes looking when the local mob wants Billy in the cage.

When they refuse, fists fly, bones break, and a brutal underground fighting ring turns their lives into a war zone. Billy is pushed to the edge as thugs, gangsters, and savage pit fighters close in. With blood in the sand and money on the line, the two brothers in arms must fight not just for survival, but for each other.
