Franco Nero plays a writer named Ted who is down on his luck, living in Columbia, and drinking his life into oblivion. When a local fisherman friend brings him a treasure hoping to sell it, Ted convinces him to them to where he found it. The journey takes them high up in the jungle mountains and inside a cave where an ancient boat resides inside a crashed UFO!
Ted soon finds himself in some deep trouble and as the mob, CIA, KGB, a crazy Nazi, and even a cyborg wants to get rid rid of him and get their hands on the priceless treasure.
With the government keeping the aliens a secret, Ted faces one deadly encounter after another and the only one he can turn to is the beautiful daughter of a local historian.
Along with some crazy effects and eclectic electronic score, this Italian adventure-science-fiction-espionage-action flick somehow combines Indian Jones with The Terminator and Romancing the Stone to create some entertainment that has to bee seen to believe.
