American Tiger (1990)

     Olympic gymnast Mitch Gaylord stars as a student who is putting himself through school as a part-time rickshaw puller in Miami.  He runs deep into trouble when he falls for the slutty charms of a ravishing topless dancer and gets involved with some sex tape antics which leads him into getting framed for the murder of the son of a wealthy televangelist.

     Trying to clear his name, the rickshaw driver pursues a trail of bizarre clues which leads him to an eccentric, elderly Chinese woman.  The woman is actually a witch who wants an old relic that the televangelist has in his possession and she warns the young rickshaw that he is part of a timeless war between the forces of good and evil that is being played out.

     When the televangelist (Halloween's Donald Pleasence) is revealed as a diabolical fake, the young rickshaw must outwit the preachers fanatical assassin (Hands of Steel's Daniel Greene) and finally face the awesome,unholy power of the Reverend himself in a climatic showdown.
