Back from the Dead (1997)

When dim-witted Corbet undergoes a hypnotic past-life regression, he unwittingly awakens the spirit of his ancestor—a deranged, cannibalistic psychopath with a taste for blood. As the sinister personality takes control, Corbet embarks on a gruesome killing spree, leaving a trail of dismemberment and destruction in his wake.

With each savage murder, the line between Corbet and the malevolent spirit blurs, plunging him deeper into a nightmarish realm of demonic possession. As the body count rises, those closest to him must confront the horrifying reality: Corbet is no longer the man they once knew, but a vessel for an ancient evil.
